How We Redesigned & Improved Stucco – Stucco Clad

Stucco has long been the exterior of choice for most buildings. It has an iconic texture design and has been known as a reliable material that has withstood the test of time. Although Stucco has been a popular choice, it isn’t without its flaws. Stucco often requires lots of time to install and is a lengthy process. It requires a skilled professional to properly apply to your renovation or construction and is not for the average DIYer. There is also the issue of Stucco being a porous material making it very susceptible to water damage. With all these issues stemming from traditional Stucco, naturally there is a need to improve the material and create alternatives to make better buildings. These problems led to the need to make stucco redesigned.

To tackle these issues, we wanted to make stucco redesigned and reimagine the material to remove all the issues while still keeping the traditional appearance of Stucco. The solution to this was Stucco Clad.

What exactly is Stucco Clad?

Stucco Clad is a synthetic high-density board textured architectural panel making it the perfect alternative to slower modern EFIS applications and traditional Stucco. They are designed to compliment stone, brick and CMU exterior designs and are equally suitable for both new construction and remodels. This makes this the perfect alternative that is known as stucco redesigned.

How exactly does Stucco Clad redesign the Stucco design?

1. Panelization

In order to speed up the process of installing the stucco exterior design, we made Stucco Clad into convenient panels for faster installation. No more mixing materials or waiting for things to cure. The best part of panelization is that you receive professional consistency with each panel throughout the whole project.

2. Ease of Installation

Since Stucco Clad comes in panel form, it makes installation a lot easier. It only requires a single general contractor or carpenter and can easily be fastened onto most surfaces. Not only that, it is also lightweight and removes all the complicated steps in between when applying stucco.

3. No specialized contractors

With traditional stucco, you usually have to get a specialized contractor to properly apply and make sure that the stucco comes out great for your building. Thanks to Stucco Clad, you no longer need a specialized contractor due to its panel design and ease of installation.

4. Not Weather Dependent

Since Stucco Clad is pre manufactured and panelized, you no longer have to wait for the perfect weather to apply your stucco design. This saves you time and you can work on your project at any instance and time!

5. Cost Reduction

Compared to traditional Stucco, Stucco Clad is comparatively less expensive to use overall. When you take into account labor and all the hidden costs associated with traditional Stucco you can see that it is cheaper. With a reduction in costs, it makes it a great choice for those that are trying to stay within a budget for your project.
